Insurance & Safety

Tree service work can be dangerous, especially in our neck of the woods, where much of our development is happening along coastlines or up hills and mountains.  As a result, our team is fully insured and up to date with the latest safety protocols and procedures. Check out our Covid safety plan to see how we are ensuring the health and safety of our workers and clients.

At Clean Cuts Tree Service, the health and safety of our staff and clients is our top priority, that’s why we are committed to:

  • Limiting the number of staff in our work trucks to pre-determined groups of 2
  • Conducting a daily health check for all staff at the beginning of each shift
  • Practicing social distancing of at least 2 meters / 6 feet from clients and public when on
  • Using appropriate and/or required personal protective equipment (PPE) when required
or when physical distancing cannot be maintained
  • Washing hands regularly including upon arriving for work, before and after breaks and
before and after handling common tools and equipment
  • Wiping down and disinfecting high touch areas, shared equipment and tools
  • Posting appropriate signage for safety protocols at job site and work yard
  • Ensuring all new staff members are trained in the COVID-19 Safety Protocols
  • Prohibiting staff or others who display symptoms of COVID-19, who have travelled
outside of Canada within the last 14 days, or who have been told to isolate by Public
  • Continuing to monitor and take guidance from, as applicable, provincial and federal
governments and health authorities and WorkSafeBC
